[Weekend Destructainment is a collection of funny videos brought together from all across the Internet to bring you entertainment on these slow and boring weekends.]
Mash ups, fake movie trailers, music, glitches and more await you in this edition of Weekend Destructainment. Up first is a super weird Halo 3: ODST Easter Egg. Then see what happens when Sonic invades Pac-Man's world. Followed by the Super Mario Bros. theme done on stepper motors. Then it's the Dig Dug movie trailer.
More fake movie trailers follow with the Rampage trailer. Then Mr PORC and friend sing the Super Mario Bros. 2 theme sadly. Next up, Sarcastic Gamer redubs the Halo 3: ODST ad. Then Francis gets down in Left 4 Dead. Next up, Phoenix Wright, Elite Beat Agents and Queen all get down. The Destructainment ends with some samplings of Chrono Trigger music from Video Games Live.

Wow, I was not expecting the conductor to launch into Scars of Time like that. Fucking awesome. O.O
I also loved the EBA - Phoenix Wright mashup. "Don't Stop Me Now" makes everything better. (And Capcom needs to make that crossover officially happen, STAT!)
Argh, that Chrono Trigger "medley" confirms what I heard about the arrangements for the show sort of being a bit crap. Hopefully it's still good as an overall experience though, since I'm going to see it when it comes here in November.
I have not played Phoenix Wright or Elite Beat Agents but I have to say, that was an awesome fucking video. That clip makes me want to make sweet love to both game, share a cigarette and then trade them in for something better.
I love EBA, I love Phoenix Wright, and I love Queen. I will now propose to that video and ask it to be my second wife. The Mrs. will just have to understand.
I'm glad to see that the VGL concerts continue to add new stuff. That Chrono compilation certainly wasn't on the setlist when I went a couple years ago... and breaking into Scars of Time like that was pretty sweet. The Phoenix/EBA mashup was excellent, too!
