Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

This has to be one of the best covers ever: Daft Punk's "Something About Us" done on Jam Sessions DS, Midi, and a theremin. Full details are on the YouTube page on how this was all done. Also, this whole video is all one take. Simply amazing. Thanks, Wardrox!

After the break, the Destructainment continues on with more Guitar Hero related nut shots. Then it's an old school ad for Streets of Rage. Next up, something that will make you all hate me very much.

Next, the 90's called and it wants its stuff back. Then watch the best live performance of Rock Band. Next up, a typography music video for "Still Alive". Random Robot Intermission is next with Dirty Robot. The Destructainment ends with a Leon from Resident Evil 4 going out in style.

More Guitar Hero nut shots! The commentary at the end is classic.

Old school ad for Streets of Rage for Sega Genesis. YEAH! NERD POWAH!

I suffered through this and I love sharing my pain with others. Spotted on Ectomo

The 90's called. Also, that was the best time to be a gamer IMO.

Shawn from Mega64 rocking out at Rock Band.

"Still Alive" done Kinetic Typography style. Spotted on vaintrain's C Blog.

Random Robot Intermission: Dirty Robot. Spotted on Danmartigan's C blog.

Leon S. Kennedy dies in style.

The Theremin is one of the few things not invented by Benjamin Franklin that I actually like.

That cover of Daft Punk was so awesome. It reminds me of the music video to it. So sad. ;_;

Ha! The "Something About Us" thing was freakin' incredible. and there's a subliminal message in it, no less!

Not a really insidious one or anything. Happens at 2:30, exactly halfway through the vid. Man, that guy is cool.

No kidding it's the same daft punk video that I posted early, peep peep, pew pew. :)
I do own that Sega Genesis: Street of Rage 2 bundle, I have proof of it in nice condition with the box. I'll to you all soon and I will be asking for chocolate chip cookies.

I enjoyed all of 'em except for the furry (disturbing) and the Rockband bit (my ears....)

There's always something so cathartic about "Still Alive". Will that version fit as an alternate end credits if it were?

That 'something about us' song is one of the few songs that has ever brought me to tears (in the past). Goddamn you ex-girlfriend!!

Awesome cover, but what's this about a subliminal message? Now I need to rewatch it. Also, that still alive vid was so stylish and professional.

And the Portal one was pretty well done too

Loved the Daft Punk cover, the furry cosplay and the dirty robot.

But the winner is the Nut Shot. 'Paint It, Black (And Blue)'. :OD

Wow, this weekend's videos rocked... all of em!

Well, except maybe the hut shot. Then again, I guess if they're doing that then I'm glad their lowering their chances of spitting out kids just like them?

The furry is going to give me nightmares.. especially since I may have made her reservation. I worked for the hotel chain where that convention was held. I now hang my head in shame for having been a part of that video's existence.
