Excuse me but what exactly was bad about Sunshine? It's my favourite of the 3d mario games...
What's wrong with Mario Sunshine? The fact that the entire game relies on a silly gimmick!? Also, an awful follow up to Mario 64! I know, let's give the plumper a voice throw in an opening CG movie, slap on a talking water-hose and call it Super Mario Sunshine!
But the TF2 thing was awesome. I think I'm gonna go play some TF2 now.
Also, Super Mario Sunshine is the WORST Mario game made.
Shit kinda got a bit crazy...

Super Mario sunshine gets a lot of unneeded crap. Is it as good as 64 or galaxy? No. But it's still a great game.

No it really isn't. It was a great game, but I'll admit nowhere near the best. The worst would probably be one of those dodgy Mario games that came on a non-nintendo console.

I actually really liked Super Mario Sunshine as well. But that commercial was awful. xD
