Weekend Destructainment is a collection of funny videos brought together from all across the Internet to bring you entertainment on these slow and boring weekends.
Music, giant screens, diseases, racism and more await you in this edition of Weekend Destructainment. After the break, Screw Attack shows us the truth about the Street Fighter IV opening. Then check out Halo 3 being played on a giant stadium screen. Next, it's a performance by Bit Shifter. Then Dtoider NukaCola does Guile's theme on the drums.
Random Robot Intermission is up next with the emotional robot. Next, find out what life is like with First Person Shooter disease. Then some Italians protest Super Mario Galaxy 2. Prototype Parkour follows that. The Destructainment ends with America's Funniest Videos mixed with Team Fortress 2 sound effects.
Back-Street Fighter Boys. Spotted on Capcom-Unity.
Halo 3 played on the Cowboys' giant screen. Spotted on TweakTown
Some Bit Shifter for you all. See if you can spot Mr. Destructoid! Spotted on Offworld.
NukaCola does Guile's theme from Street Fighter II on the drums.
Random Robot Intermission: The emotional robot. Spotted on Geekologie.
First Person Shooter disease. Spotted on Polygamia.
I missed this during E3: Italians protest the new Mario game at E3.
Prototype Parkour. Giant ad for GameStop, but still neat.
America's Funniest Videos with Team Fortress 2 sound effects.
Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

Haha, I love these videos (not just talking about my own :P) The Indestructible music video, FPS disease, and Super Mario Bros. protest are my favorites this weekend. Thanks for the comment otakunoise. Check my blog for links to more VG covers I've done.

That said, I laughed until I cried at the TF2 vid. No idea what was even that funny, but I'm still trying to recover from those hysterical fits of laughter...
I don't know what it is about "Indestructible," but I hated it the first time I heard it, but as I heard it more, it started to grow on me. Now with a pseudo music video for it, I'm in love with it.
Also, italian protest video was genius, and the last video is proof that a few sound edits can make something that was mediocre to start with into something brilliant.
The Prototype video is meh, it would've been better if they showed the same guy just doing some running and jumping over railing posts and stuff, and then out of the fucking blue he jumps a mile high and crushes a care, then cue a video of prototype gameplay.
Holy shit, that TF2 video made me literally, cry with laughter all the way through. Pure genius. Best video I've seen in a long long long time that made me laugh so much.
The PROTOTYPE video made me want the game even more (can't afford :( ). And that Mario Brothers video is really funny :)
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
And then I go and laugh my uncultured ass of at the last video. Well played.
that there's some damn tight drumming. awesome!
Sure was funny.
"We must stop little baby!"
BitShifter has a full album for free on 8bitpeoples. I encourage you to check it out.
The SF4 one was disturbing and hilarious as well.

I especially like the part of the FPS disease video where he is making breakfast.
