Combo breakers, musical covers, mods and more await you in this edition of Weekend Destructainment. First up after the break, it's some crazy combos in Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. Then Red Vs. Blue check out Halo 3: ODST. Next up, it's an awesome LEGO tribute to 8-bit games. Random Robot Intermission is up next with two robots making out.

Next up, the Double Dragon theme is played on the Mandolin. Then Toad is the Transporter. Next, listen to an awesome cover of some music from Sonic the Hedgehog. Followed by a mod in Street Fighter IV that brings in The Scout from Team Fortress 2. The Destructainment ends with a Ran Ran Ruuu Legend of Zelda mash-up.

The Scout mod and MvC2 combo videos were definitely the best. Although I have to admire the work that went into the stop-motion legos too. :]

Robot Chicken usually seems forced to me and I rarely chuckle out loud at it.

The rest was really good though.

Heh, I work at one of the terrestrial TV stations in Australia, and I've been putting that Nintendo advert into the schedules as much as I can. It's great.

Yeah, I HATE Robot Chicken. They either take kid's stuff like Mario and Archie comics and make it violent/sexual, or just be like "Hey guys, remember this 80s thing? Well, we're not going to make a joke about it, but we will mention it briefly for no reason." Really lowest common denominator nerd humor.

But HOLY SHIT at that LEGO music video. Wonder how they made it. That was wicked.

I really like Robot Chicken. It's humor is of the lowest common denominator, but it's sort of a guilty pleasure of mine.

At least it's better then Family Guy and South Park.

Futurama = Best!

@ atastysammich: Depends on the game. In MK 64 it would lap the entire track and then nail you if it had enough time. In MK DS and MK Wii it functions as depicted in the sketch. I think it might work like you're thinking in Double Dash, though.

That MvC2 vid is the exact reason why I will never play the game online.
