I just got back from watching The Simpsons Movie and knew I had to spoil a scene for the gaming crowd. You know, because the trailers didn't spoil enough of the movie as it is. I don't want to describe how Homer ends up in a snowy place playing the game (as it's a major story arc) but I can say that the movie was surprisingly good.
Welcome to another edition of the exciting Weekend Destructainment. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll scratch your head and go "WTF?!". The SMW level hack... Eh. Much as it looks super crazy hard, it's the kind of super crazy hard that you can only conquer if you actually made the level yourself, and thus know exactly what to do at every turn. Plus you have the ability to save and load states.
I remember picking up a magazine that spoiled the warps 2 days after I tore my thumbs apart on a rental. Love the 8-bit vid. I think I'm going to start saying "tig ol bitties". On the related videos for the battletoads speedrun, one of them is the theme song for the cartoon good lord I'm glad I don't remember that.
Yeah, I just got back from seeing The Simpsons Movie, and it was pretty damn funny. I’ve been a fan of the show forever, and I’m really happy with what they put together. And Grand Theft Walrus was hilarious.
That 8-bit video... holy crap. That was WIN incarnate. I want that song that was playing during Sylvia's walk through the megaman city. I never thought I'd find someone to actually sing during a megaman stage song. Wonder what they're saying.
