How do you leave an impression on all of your fellow graduating classmates? Why, by giving a speech inspired by Pokémon cards. You just have to love the looks on the people's faces who have no idea what's going on. Thanks, brecksher.
Weekend Destructainment is GO! After the jump, check out the newest episode of The GameBoys, starring Geoff Mendicino with guest stars Rocco Botte, GameJew and Handsome Tom. Then watch on in amazement as someone gets 100% on "Through the Fire and the Flames" on expert. Next up, check out a hottie training to become the next Guitar Hero hero. Then, a man gets trapped in the videogame world.
Next, a Roomba becomes Pac-Man. Then, it's the trailer for DON'T SHOOT THE WOCKETS. Random Robot Intermission is up next with one of the best covers of a song I have ever seen, followed by a message from Mega64 letting you know that Alien Hominid HD is still on XBLA. The Destructainment ends with a man's journey with Wii Fit.
The GameBoys VIII, Geoff Mendicino's crazy little show. In this episode: Sonic in real life, Rocco from Mega64 reviews a wireless keyboard, Phoenix Wright questions hobos, and Handsome Tom and GameJew make special guest segments. Some scenes are a little NSFW.
100% perfect score on "Through the Fire and Flames" on expert. Spotted on Kotaku.
Training to become the ultimate Guitar Hero hero. Thanks, Conrad!
A man gets trapped in the videogame world and battles against Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Mario and more. Thanks, Piero!
A Rommba turned into a Pac-Man.
"Don't Shoot the Wockets". This is what happens when a 7-year-old enters a Garry's Mod where Lit Fuse Films is making a film. Thanks, Zachariah, Michael, and Joe from LitFuseFilms.
Random Robot Intermission: This is a cover of the Radiohead song "Nude". They used old machines like hard drives, scanners and other old machinery to create everything you're hearing in the video. The fact that the harddrives are the voice in the song is just mind blowing. Big thanks to Dyson.
Oh hey, Alien Hominid HD is still on Xbox Live. Go download it or something.
Wii Fit: One Man's Journey. Spotted on GoNintendo.
Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

Meet the rest of the team
I only made it through two minutes of that speech. That was f'in painful to experience. I can only imagine how awkward and angry people musta been, let alone confused.
Of course all that rests on whether or not the part about him being anti-Guitar Hero wasn't just a crock of shit tacked on in order to put quote in a negative context.
Speaking of Guitar Hero, are we ever going to get a video of someone beating TtFatF in which we can see the player actually hitting the fret buttons for once, or are we supposed to be content with most of the action being shown to us from behind, and largely off-screen?
I know that we're supposed to be see the TV while he's playing, but even so, I'd like to see a full-frontal on the finger action for once. :D
Poor graduate, probably gonna drown to death under the weight his collection of ironic T-shirts when it falls about from his dorm closet. Then again, it would be God's work to eliminate the stupid, so this is why God rules.
How come whenever someone beats a song in a GH video, they always end up repeating something in disbelief, like, a billion times? Also, that's why John Mayer hates GH, and you.
Also the garry's mod video is hilarious, but sometimes a little awkward. To hear an adult saying "I need you to do something for me first" to a little kid is a bit strange to hear. (In reference to the unedited version on youtube)
That Pokemon graduation was absolutely fantastic. That guys got some serious balls. It's the sort of thing that one would be really afraid of embarrassing one's self doing, but that most people would end up being really entertained by.
Never in my life have I had the urge to punch someone in the face more than I have watching that graduation speech. I truly hope that man lives out a loveless and meaningless existence.
Yeah, that graduation video is from my old Highschool. The speech was made last year (I graduated in '03) and I must say, mine was full of awful football metaphors and I would of took this over that any day.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Boy do I look like an asshole. :D
and that trapped in the videogame was weird, euro arthouse weird.
I know that we're supposed to be see the TV while he's playing, but even so, I'd like to see a full-frontal on the finger action for once. :D
Also, RE: 100%, that was the best end game video taping I've ever seen. A-Mazing
Video 2: Just not my style. Props to them for making these though, I know a lot of people really like them. Keep it up, fellas.
Video 3: Ridiculous.
video 4: WUT?! GIRLS DON'T PLAY VIDEO GAMES!
Video 5: And that's why you shouldn't sit so close to the screen.
Video 6: Asians are masters of all things robotic.
Video 7: This is one of my favorite videos of all time. An oldie, but always worth watching again.
Video 8: Pure genious, all around.
Video 9: Big heads through doorways never get old.
Video 10: It was adorable how excited he was about WiiFit.
Once again, thanks for the support.
-_-

I will be extra impressed if Guitar Hero do a Dillinger Escape Plan track, and someone aces that.
Wocket Video was funny, though.
