Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

Weekend Destructainment is a collection of funny videos brought together from all across the Internet to bring you entertainment on these slow and boring weekends.

Real life Golden Axe, burlesques, post-it notes, cross-dressing and more await you in this edition of Weekend Destructainment. After the break, it's Super Sonic Racing time. Then it's the ad for GiantBomb's new iPhone app. Next up is a live action recreation of the first level from Golden Axe. Then GameTrailers checks out the LA burlesque show. Next, Dhalsim leads a massive Caramelldansen.

Random Robot Intermission is up next with the trailer for RoboGeisha. Then Dtoider NukaCola does a drum cover from Drakkhen. Next, check out the stop motion Donkey Kong made from post-it notes. Then it's a creepy ad for the Nintendo 64. The Destructainment ends with another masterpiece from Hyadain.

I've been listening to Super Sonic Racing all day thanks to Dale North. Don't mind the Thomas The Train footage.

GiantBomb app ad for the iPhone. Apply directly to your Cash 4 Gold farts!

Level one of Golden Axe in real life.

GT at the videogame burlesque show.

Dhalsim leads a mass Caramelldansen at Anime Expo 2009. Spotted on GoNintendo.

Random Robot Intermission: RoboGeisha trailer. Spotted on Japanator.

Dtoider NukaCola does the Drakkhen Character Creation theme on drums.

Donkey Kong made from post-it notes.

Old school ad for the Nintendo 64 is, well, something else.

Another masterpiece from Hyadain. This song is based on Final Fantasy VI.

Fried Shrimp!

That image of the blood squirting out at 2:18 will haunt my dreams. That said, I'm looking forward to seeing that film.

You need to work on telling your Final Fantasy's apart, or just relax hitting your "I" key.

Oh come on. They cut out the best parts of that burlesque show. Not that I can't see boobs elsewhere on the internet, but it's a matter of principal, here.

But yeah, nice to see that Chun Li was so full figured. I'm tirex of seeing the super skinny types. Not that being naturally skinny is bad, I just don't think they should force it.

And I love Sonic R's awful soundtrack. Haha. Can you feel the sunshine? Does it brighten up your day?

Ugh. Sonic R had some of they gayest music ever. And I don't mean gay in a derogatory sense either. It's like from a drag queen's iPod.

Wow, this week Nuka proved beyond a doubt that he can't play the drums.
Please stop posting these vids, they must only be encouraging him.

I've seen the robo-geisha trailer before, but that doesn't make it any less awesome. xD

God damn I love Cyan's theme. I just wish I could understand japanese. :[

Hey Autumn, be nice. That's how the actual drum beat goes. Listen to the original song! Although watching it now I do see a few slight hiccups.

Forgive the doublepost. The original song's drumming for reference: Video here.

@Nuka

Sorry man, no hard feelings. If other people enjoy it then it's all good, but it sounds like a bit of a mess to me. I'm probably just over-sensitive to the timing, and that drum beat in general is kind of horrible (though that is the original song's fault, not yours).
Like I said, no hard feelings. I'll keep an eye out for next weeks and leave some (friendly) feedback.

haha no problem dude. I just wanted to explain myself :P And I'm not saying not to be negative, negative feedback can help me strive to be better too.

The girl who dressed as Chun Li at the burlesque show was definitely the hottest.
