Weekend Destructainment is a collection of funny videos brought together from all across the Internet to bring you entertainment on these slow and boring weekends.
Spoofs, old school ads, weirdness, sexy stuff and more all await you after the break in this edition of Weekend Destructainment. First up, check out 28 Weeks Later remade in Halo 3. Then it's Team Fortress 2, Zeta Punch style. Next up is an old school ad for Mother. Random Robot Intermission follows with the trailer for Bruce Willis' Surrogates.
Next, it's the latest episode of Half-Life Full-Life Consequences. Then it's a Dtoider doing some videogame musical covers on the drums. Next up, Mega64 cracks the Kojima code. Followed by video of the videogame burlesque show. The Destructainment ends with an old ad for the Pac-Man cereal starring Christian Bale.
Random Robot Intermission: Trailer for Bruce Willis' new movie called Surrogates. Looks really good!
Half-Life Full-Life Consequences: Free Man. Spotted on Cutie Honey's C Blog. This just isn't funny to me anymore.
Dtoider NukaCola has shared with us some of his drumming videogame covers. Expect most, if not all, to be featured on Weekend D for the next few weeks.
Mega64 cracks the Kojima code.
No idea what's going on here. The music sounds very Final Fantasy so yeah, that's the excuse.
Video of the videogame burlesque show down in Los Angeles.
Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

Hey awesome a Kangaroo Mouse if I'm correct. I'm too lazy to look it up but I guess it's a Microdipodops or a very close relative. It looks kinda different though than the ones I know. I could be wrong but I thought it was quite common in The States. Well, maybe not in all the states but certainly in the the southern ones maybe it was Mexico. Oh what gives, it looks cool and I want one.
I checked it out, the little guy is called a Jerboa, apparently. They live in places like the Gobi desert. He kind of, just kiiind of reminds me of Munchie from Dragon Quest
having had a rabbit and a mouse for a pet, i think this is naturally the next step for me.
Patrick is the drummer in a video where I'm the lead singer for an "Enter Sandman" cover. He's also one of my best friends and I'm happy to see him here.

Somebody remade the first area of Zelda: Ocarina of Time using Halo 3. It's actually a little boring but the faithfullness is worth a watch alone. The Ghoma boss battle at the end is pretty cool too.

Dunno what it is but it made me laugh.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
and what exactly is the burlesque show? Are they classy strippers or sexy dancers?
