[Weekend Destructainment is a collection of funny videos brought together from all across the Internet to bring you entertainment on these slow and boring weekends.

I still suffer from some connectile dysfunction so Weekend Destructainment is a little smaller than usually. Still, there's plenty of awesome to be had! After the break, it's the N00b boyfriend. Then it's Mega64 and the PS3 Slim Ghost Story. Followed by Inglourious Plummers, a spoof of the Inglourious Basterds trailer.

Then Dtoider P4KO does the Street Fighter II credits on guitar. Random Robot Intermission follows with a robot with super fast hands. Then check out why everyone hates the Madden announcers. Next up is the first ever Gameboy commercial. The Destructainment ends with a nice song by Leeni at Pulsewave.

The N00b Boyfriend.

Mega64: The PS3 Slim Ghost Story.

Inglourious Plummers.

Dtoider P4KO does the Street Fighter II credits theme on guitar.

Random Robot Intermission: The hand is quicker than the eye! Spotted on Geekologie.

Oh Madden announcer, how I hate you. Thanks, Daniel.

The first ever Gameboy commercial.

Nice song by Leeni at Pulsewave. Spotted on TinyCartridge.

Watched the N00b Boyfriend twice, and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. Also enjoyed the Mega64 video.

I have nothing constructive to offer this post aside from that.

I totally remember that Game Boy commercial! I also remember the demo video that played on the giant Game Boy displays at Toys 'R Us, the one that says, "You can take it anywhere you want to go!"

Mega64 is far too creative for their own good.

Also dug Inglorious Plummers and P4KO's guitar.

Awesome Weekend Destructainment today! The n00b Boyfriend was hilarious, and Inglourious Plummers has got to be one of the best trailer parodies ever. Mega64 delivers once again. The robot stuff was fascinating and disturbing, lol. P4KO's guitar cover of the SFII credits theme was kickass. Wanna do a collab sometime? :P

Oh, and Gameboy probably had the most badass console boxart ever. Seriously, as a kid, I'd stop to look at it from the counter of Bradlees as a kid.

That Game Boy commercial stands for everything that was horrible and amazing about the late 80's/early 90's.

...it's even up there with old episodes of Saved By The Bell.

Look. All you people who do these video game song covers - I admire your talent, but please choose game soundtracks other than Street Fighter, Zelda, Final Fantasy and Mario.

Great weekend though.

I hear lots of game covers other than SF, Zelda, FF, or Mario. Of course, if one of those covers were put up here rather than an SF cover, you'd probably be bitching about people covering that game as well. Does a song really have to be obscure to be good?
