Weekend Destructainment: Break it down photo
  share: Twitter Facebook Reddit Digg
filed under: #Feature

Weekend Destructainment is a collection of funny videos brought together from all across the Internet to bring you entertainment on these slow and boring weekends.

Raps, remixes, weird ads, LEGOs and more await you in this edition of Weekend Destructainment. After the break, check out the rap called "We Gamin." Then it's the WoW kid freak-out remix! Next up, some kid shows off his light gun skills. Then it's a really weird French ad for Mega Man 2

Next up is the interpretative dance to the Mii Channel music. Random Robot Intermission follows with robots with too much power. Then its Michael Jackson's "Beat it" mashed with Mega Man 8. Next, it's some old school arcade games done with LEGOs. Then it's the sequel! The Destructainment ends with more drum covers by Dtoider NukaCola.

"We Gamin'", a rap about videogames. It's actually not bad! Thanks, Ryan.

The Warcraft freak-out kid remix!

Serious skills. Thanks, EternalDarkWing!

French ad for Mega Man 2 with Mario. Spotted on GoNintendo.

Dancing to the Mii Channel music.

Random Robot Intermission: Do robots have too much power?

Mega Man 8 meets Michael Jackson's "Beat it."

Arcade games Lego-rized.

THE SEQUEL! (There's a game cameo at the end!)

Dtoider NukaCola does a drum cover for Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.

So...the Lego Arcade Asteroids segment. They should make the entire Asteroids movie like that...

I've got something off of youtube.

There are more in the related videos section. All of them are songs from the Touhou game Embodiment Of Scarlet Devil, remixed to sound like Mega Man tunes. Touhou music in general is known by listeners and players alike to be some of the best in the industry. Uematsu, Kondo Koji, Koshiro Yuzo(Actraiser & SoR), Ishikawa Jun(Kirby) have nothing on the guy who created the original tunes.

In case anyone was wondering, that WoW Freakout Remix is mixed to the theme of the "Gourmet Race" theme from Kirby.

Here's another one remixed to "Sand Canyon" from same. I think it's better for the additional animations and because Sand Canyon is so much more mind-rending.

Damn.....MJ's Beat It is my favourite track, but that is EPIC! :] Nice mash up.

As for the Remix, totally stolen off the forums from me :P jk Did post the Chinese original though :) Glad everyone can see it :)

Also, that Arcade machine guy looks more like he's playing a Dance Dance game :)

And that We Gaming video is cringe worthy :] I was expecting it to do with "We Gaming, They Hating..."

I'm just waiting until we inevitably build Skynet and the human race ends up dying because of that. Megaman 8/Beat It is one of the best remixes I've heard in a while. That Asteroids Lego thing was brilliant. And personally, I think that's probably NukaCola's best drum vid to date.

"We Gaming" had the most retarded dancing ever! Just look at 2:19! It's so shameful. And that Zelda video is really better than Shaman King, it was so random the first time around.

Hey! I know the girl who did that MJ Beat it video from DeviantArt!
She's such a wacky funster! Right now she's drawing Megaman character as Sailor Scouts and anime characters in the old Saban Cartoon style!

READY TO SATURDAY.

waitwhat

I love these posts. this week's favorite for me would have to be... WoW freakout kid. I am probably the only person on Earth who did not laugh at the original video, but there's something about taking crazy shit and putting it to high speed music that puts a smile on my face. :]

Mystic Quest's final battle music is insanely fun to drum too, especially those double-bass bits :)

I'm thinking of doing River City Ransom & Secret of Mana next, followed by Mega Man X & Final Fantasy Medleys. And then I think I'll finally start taking requests!

WOW kid is totally fake... can't find that funny. Those legos are amazing. Onion kicks butt on a daily basis.

We Gamin' haters, I think its hilarious. Very tongue in cheek.

Why do the 3 interpretative dancers they always have to fuck inanimate objects in their vids? Haven't they ever heard of whores?
