Lmfao. I agree, the title should be the main character of the game.

Portal 2 on electric guitar was awesome!

Regarding the booth babes... they're models, not gamers. What's really sad is if you ask them any questions about the game they're actually at the booth for - generally they don't have a clue. I remember a G4 video where they did just that one year... and one gal actually said something to the effect of "I don't have to know about the game... I have these... everyone's way more interested in these" - said while pointing to her boobs and shoving them at the camera.

uhhh... yeah.

I was LMAO the whole babes booth video ... That was sad that they didn't know anything about games at ALL .... I answered them all in a heart beat. I thought they were going to at LEAST get the Legend of Zelda question right...

I don't know, I knew all those questions but any gamer could get the Bayonetta question wrong. I haven't played that game. If I didn't read about games so much, I think my knowledge of gaming trivia would be pretty low.

Wish I could watch the Portal 2 video but I can't because I still haven't played the game yet. It's next on my "get" list though.

I get that the booth babe trivia was supposed to point out they don't know shit about video games, I get that (and totally expect it). But question 3 seems a pretty difficult question for anyone; I wouldn't have known the answer without that silhouette of a Big Daddy. But maybe that's because I've never played BioShock?

Kinda', maybe, sorta' a mean-spirited edge to the Babe Booth video. Models model. That's what they do. They aren't industry experts. If it was kind of a time-killing, content-filling fun thing....ok. There just seemed a kind of condescending edge.

I want to be very careful not to cause offense or over-state the point....but there's more than a few 'pop culture gamer' gals hanging about the fringes of video game/entertainment sites who at heart, are much more about social networking/promotion than a deep font of industry knowledge or a flare for writing. There are good looking gals and guys who are great reviewers and/or writers of course, I'm not making a superficial correlation. It's also not a great crime to find a niche to market yourself in. But if we're going to start chucking stones at video game booth girls for being LOL dumb T&A attention-seekers........maaaaaybe, at a more subtle level, there's some glass houses out there.

I'm going to agree with Elsa. I wouldn't really expect booth babes/models to be knowledgeable of the industry they are modeling for. They're paid to look pretty and attract people to the booth and maybe answer some simple questions about the product in the booth their representing. That's it.

Also thanks so much Brian. I'm glad you managed to figure a way out from underneath the rock you've been living under to share your oh so special opinion with us.

I wouldn't really expect the everyday "booth babe" to be too familiar with what they're promoting as a lot of them are just hired locally a few days earlier. Perhaps some generic stock answers written by corporate, but not much more. This situation is not unique to gaming in any way, so these types of videos don't do much beside occasionally reminding us that the earth is round and water is wet (not that they can't occasionally be highly entertaining).

I do agree that there is a bit of a fine line with these types of videos because given the obvious nature of the situation, though. Sometimes this type of questioning can come off as a cheap, mean-spirited ego boost to the interviewer and target audience by implying how much better they are at the expense of the clueless interviewees. This is especially true when it's over matters of trivia.

Anyway, enough serious shit. The Halo pinball was pretty interesting and I now know who iJustine is and that makes me a very sad panda. :(

Now, I wanted to laugh at the booth babes' ignorance, but then I thought: I don't know shit about modeling, fashion, shoes, books or whatever these kinds of girls are into.

Quick, everyone: Who designed Kate Middleton's wedding dress?
See? Not that simple.

Woah I must not be hardcore anymore since i only got 2 out of 5 on those booth-babe qs.
I've been gaming for over 20 years and still it's one of my main interests but I only got Bioshock(which i never actually finished) and Link (only ever played Link to the Past and... the one with the boat on DS)

I mean come on! how many gamers know all 3 starter pokemon?! charizard does stir some distant memories from Red back in '98 i think... but if you'd asked me i'd probly have said pikachu as well!

Now to be fair, I've also spoken to booth "beaus", specifically at the Duke Nukem Forever booth at PAX East this past March. While waiting in line, not only were there girls in school-girl outfits, but guys in suits, and I started talking to one of them and he was quite curious as to what that booth over there that said "Portal 2" was all about, as he'd never heard of this "Portal". I actually kept my cool and explained it too him, both in terms of game and phenomenon.

Note to P.R. groups. Question your potential booth babes about games to sift the wheat from the chaff.

Boyz 2 Men. Honestly. O_o

Also, wouldn't mind the ball going faster and bouncing a bit more Reach pinball.

Also also, glad the Awesome series has returned.
