After the jump, the Destructainment gets started with alien robot goats from Blacksite. Then it's a very interesting Sims machinima music video to the tune of "Smell Yo Dick". Next is an awesome gaming music video made with an MIDI program. Followed by another gaming music video for Portal.
Next up, a long collection of random Japanese videogame commercials. Robot Random Intermission follows with Daft Bodies. Then an awesome glitch from Assassin's Creed. The Destructainment ends with an episode of the original Pac-Man cartoon.
There's a robot goat in Blacksite: Area 51 ... awesome? I can't help but think this is making fun of the Halo 3 Gold skull trick where you have to go through all the hoops in a particular order. Thanks, crickets.

Assassin's Creed would be glorious if it had Multiplayer. Running across the city,trying to kill each other stealthfuly or working together to clear huge waves of people. Imagine if one person could create a distraction while the other went after the target. I wish that could happen but I don't think Jade Raymond will think it's a good idea. One thing I do have to say about that game is: I just beat assassin's creed and it left me a bit.....cutoff.
I'm not sure how strong the prescription or hallucinogenic drugs are in Japan but after forcing myself through 9 minutes of what they see on a day to day basis, I feel like I'm missing out. If everything else wasn't so expensive,I'd move to japan to enjoy the good things in life......that make you think the world is a playground for only 10 cents. That would be the only thing that would make me able to withstand the massive barrage of live-acting commercials.
I accidentally used MS points for Pac Man, the first ep was free and I thought the entire season was free. It was the only thing I could purchase before the banhammer. Still have to watch it :)
This entry is full of win. The Daft Bodies thing is incredible, and I officially want to marry one of those women based on their coordination skills alone. The Portal remix was exceptionally well done, and I made sure to download the audio. Brilliant stuff. And that Altair shoving glitch always cracks me up.
thanks a pretty cool AC glitch,add that one up with the countless other AC fuck ups. i've only played through the first assassination and i can't seem to get into it.
i also rented Mass Effect and so far im a bit underwhelmed by iT.
Wow, AC is glitchy, all those 'normal' rendering blips and the broken horse / TWO player instances stuff. And what the hell is up with the sci-fi UI and symbols? Thought this game was set in the effing crusades? Dont tell me hes a time traveler or is going to bust out a railgun halfway through the game *rolleyes*.
Daft Punk vid is cool. Portal song is meh. Mario graphics put into the Midi playback is ace. Not going to watch this weeks pointless meme vid.

Also, I honestly couldn't tell whether "smell your dick" was meant to be a parody song or not, it just sounded like pretty much all other r&b music I hear these days. Guess that means it's an effective parody?
i didnt have a problem with assassins creed until the last level, and even then i probably had one of the coolest glitches occur, i fell straight through the ground and died, but the best part was when i came back there was two assassins and i could control both of them. i could even assassinate myself
I saw the daft punk video over on college humor a few days ago and was going to post it, but alas I forgot. Someone get the chicks from the video to do it again with the destructoid robot helmet on.
Thats a bit rubbish isnt it, think they shoe-horned that bit in just so they could boast some kind of Sci-Fi basis in the game? Sounds like publisher interference to me; "Whatdya mean its set in Medieval times.. where are the plasma swords, the aliens , the slipgates.. no grenades? Well that doesnt sound 'Next-Gen' to me.. sort it out for the next milestone, oh and make sure there a tilt controls in there".
