Yeah the server should be better moderated.
I was on it for an hour or so and there were huge problems, the biggest being lag.
Having blocks reappear and placed blocks disappear just isnt fun.
So there should be at least 5 Mods that have the ability to set warps, protect zones and do other things.
Just take a look at the Reddit server (c.nerd.nu) this is how a large minecraft server needs to be organized.

Out of curiosity, why a Google Group? Don't we have forums?
It was trivial for me to join; I already had a gmail account. But others may not. Seems an unnecessary hurdle.
Anyway, I've posted twice to the group, got passed over after the first. Just adding a note here as well: Morcant is my Minecraft name. (I'd probably change it here too, except I'd have to create a new account, and I like the smug - if unpublicized - feeling of seniority over 90% of current users. =))

I loooove the server, if we could just settle the lag and such. :) Right now I'm working on an underground fortress, but once that's done, I'll help with Destructopia (yeah, you like that.. admit it XD)

I know I shouldn't probably post this here, but hoping it could help me get whitelisted for the destructoid MC server as I posted twice on the google group, but TBH, that was such a disorganized and poor way to go about requests IMO, and I still haven't gotten feedback on it after weeks.
