So I checked out Sleeping dogs on redbox, 1 hour in I realized I did a crime against gaming. I'll be buying it in the near future for sure.
Those Last Story review comments are great. I picked up Darksiders 2, and already payed off The Last Story (worried about it now though). I'm gonna have to hold off for at least a little bit on Sleeping Dogs.
I think the gaming media's down on nintendo because they openly admit that they couldnt care less about the gaming media.
Sony and ms, dont really care, either, but they lie, and that sort of thing is appreciated by nerds who, unlike us, need to be called journalists.
It seems funny to me that reviewers never bitch about innovation or pioneering ideas when theyre giving 9s to the new third person hack n slasher, shooter or criminal sandbox game for the cool kid systems, but the second nintendo comes into the fray, "we've seen all this before."
I guess theres solace in the fact that everyone knows the guys opinion isnt really worth anything, but still, the nintendo bs is blatant and its bullshit.

Nintendo doesn't really have a stake in the North American release of The Last Story, for those trying revel in another conspiracy theory. What with Mistwalker developing and XSEED publishing, there's not much stake in getting whatever "revenge" on Nintendo is assumed to be desired.

Sleeping Dogs is the best open world game I've played to date. If you're still deciding whether or not to get it, watch some streams of it or something. These people deserve every penny they get.

The DToid review is the only negative one on Metacritic so far. It doesn't mean it's wrong, but you might have fun with it if you play it, guys.
Sleeping Dogs though.... Hoooollleeeeeshhhiiiitttt that's amazing so far. The PC version isn't even treated as a second class citizen!
Darksiders 2 looks fun. I'll play the first game one day and then get around to it. That ones a less than stellar port by all accounts though so I may dust down my 360 for it.
