Hehe why is it the first thing i thought about when reading the title to this post was "We don't go to Ravenholm"
This is actually an encouraging angle for games to take: A genre and a concept really not covered very much ere now. With a somewhat significant arcade focus (and a good bit more depth than Bear "Press X to harvest urine" Grylls' efforts so far), this could be something quite remarkable.
...Or, it could be a hackneyed, low-budget Bear-minimum take on the concept, with hunting thrown in.

This could be very good if it can capture the exploration & traversal game play of Uncharted with the hunting & outdoor survival of Red Dead Redemption.
I doubt it will be that good or that well made, but it coudl be. What they are showing and describing is somewhat like what I said above, so there is no reason aside from laziness that they could not make just that.
I hope that do aim for that sort of gameplay, and I hope if they do it succeeds. If they took a second crack at this idea I'm sure they could make something that would be a huge hit with hardcore gamers who may never have given a hunting/nature game a second thought.
