Yeah, so I really played We Cheer 2 at Namco Bandai’s event yesterday. Listen, I’m about to move out of my parents’ house for the first time in my life and I need the money. So yeah, I forced myself to play this game.
In We Cheer 2, players will use the Wiimote to swing their arms around to match on-screen prompts. It’s Dance Dance Revolution for the arms, basically. Players can use one to two Wiimotes to perform cheerleader moves to over 30 licensed songs like Avril Lavigne’s “Girlfriend” song. Oh yeah, I wanted to shoot myself in the face when I heard that song for the billionth time in my life.
The game supports up to four players. It offers customizable characters and there will now be male cheerleader characters. The game will be out this Fall for $39.99. There's a trailer for the game after the break, on the off chance that you actually want to see the game in action.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go play Gears of War 2 and watch porn at the same time to regain some of my manhood. Thank God for picture-in-picture TVs!
Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

The poor little white box is going downhill fast because of shit like this. I need to play some "No More Heroes" and "MadWorld" to get my Wii testosterone back.
At least that Bring It On poster was worth looking at.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I didn't read the article, but thank you for using correct grammar in your header.
Incorrect: "We Cheer 2 is a game you cheer in."
Correct: "We Cheer 2 is a game in which you cheer."
Thank you. Thank you thank you danke 10q
Danmartigan: Your comment alone made this post worth it.
Dammit, I was just about to say that!
