This is sick. Dude, stop it. You're making everybody uncomfortable. Have you no shame?
This, ladies and gentlemen, is fighting game virtuoso Desk as he plays a few rounds of Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike one-handed against... himself! He's operating two characters at the same time and making it look like the most natural thing in the world. He's serving up parries, supers, and counters like grits at a Waffle House. Then at the 1:14 mark, the asshole whips out his cell phone and starts texting while wrecking Remy with the other hand. Good gravy.
Tony Ponce (aka megaStryke) is a culturally confused, Canadian-born Puerto Rican who grew up in Japan and South Florida ... yet can only speak English. He specializes in writing features and maintaining an immaculate goatee. Likes: Any and all things related to Mega Man, Contra, Castlevania, 2D, PB&J sandwiches, applesauce, and candy corn.
Meet the rest of the team
I'm going to hope you're purposely being facetious, but just in case:
1) There are no "Western tiers." Japanese tier lists are the same as the ones we all know and love. http://wiki.shoryuken.com/images/5/5d/ThridStrikeDiagramCropped.jpg
2) Tiers are an evaluation of the objective strengths and weaknesses of each character in each possible matchup presented in a "wins X games out of 10" format, not a list where "a higher-tier character will always beat a lower tier character." Hugo can definitely beat Chun, but it's ridiculously difficult, and most of the time the Chun player is going to take the win assuming both players are of equal (top-level) skill. Hugo will still win once in a while, but it'll be comparatively rare.
You know, I'm not sure. I've only seen his fighting game stuff. A quick google search and I found the Ikaruga vid. It quite possibly could be him with that insane execution.
It's not THAT impressive. Way i saw it he lost every single time. Fair enough he won every time as well but if the wins cancel out the losses then all we have left is an average record.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I must be mistaken.
Crazy awesome European musician....this is what happens when he plays fighters.
Hugo for president.
Mmm...grits....
If not, he has tons of other ridiculous vids on his Youtube account. I've been a subscriber for awhile now.
The problem is finding ways to deal that damage. He's huge hitbox doesn't help either.
can't wait to see him at evo this year

I may be mistaken, but isn't this the same guy who did a flawless Ikaruga run with two ships at the same time?
WHAT IS IT?! MY BRAIN WON'T TELL ME WHAT IT IS EVEN THOUGH I KNOW I'VE SEEN IT AND IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!
It's from a short-lived MTV cartoon called Undergrads:
