News on the Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War II front has been rather quiet as of late, but that's finally changed with the arrival of this new trailer and a pack of screenshots. I've always been more of a Slugga Boy at heart, but hey, I'll take what I can get.

The focus this time around seems to be entirely based on connecting you with the squads you'll be commanding, which isn't sounding so hot for a guy like me who sends most of his troops off on suicide missions.

Either way, I'm loving the over-the-top voice-overs for the Blood Ravens. Dammit Dawn of War II, why won't you come out already!

When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied: "bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways. wow. the graphics are awesome. the tilesets are nice to look at now unlike i down of war 1 which was somehow made the game feel boring.

dw2 and starcraft 2 will be my top pc games when they come out.

if this game have an animated unit portrait just like in sc then this game would be twice awesome. seriosly artworks or drawing for a unit portrait is a let down when you compare it to starcraft's. why can't they copy it? just imagine animated portrait for dawn of war 2. o.O

@electricmole Donno but you could say the same of Starcraft's lack of unit interaction aka lack of animation. I'd rather have that than some picture that smiles.

@volomo

i know but animated unit portrait makes you feel more about the unit you are using and i think thats one factor why starcraft is a lot better than other rts. the animated unit portraits gives the unit more characteristics and life. imagine space marine with aimated portraits and with their awesome dark vader voices. ^^

I would rather they concentrate more on making another awesome rts than spend time making unit portraits which don't really add to the GAME at all to be honest.

^it adds more Depth in the Story/campaign mode not only that but there are wargear(depending on how/what u do) which transfer from your campaign mode to your online matches; supposedly. perhaps ill increase states or just looks pretty which im not complaining about cause the more customization i can do the better

I am looking forward to being disappointed that I will have to spend two grand to upgrade my computer (only a year old) to actually run this thing. I thought I would never say this, but I am thinking it may actually be cheaper to play tabletop WH40k.
