Ron Carmel, co-creator of the highly successful WiiWare and PC title World of Goo, has made a WarioWare D.I.Y. microgame. Suck Goo might be simplistic (even by WarioWare standards) but that's exactly the sort of game I can see myself making. A simple one, I mean, not one where Goo gets sucked into a pipe. That's just weird.
This video was a really good idea. I knew the microgame building tools would have to be simple but I didn't expect it to be as easy as some of this. The maestro in particular looks to be a helpful little guy for those of us who have no gift for music whatsoever.
WarioWare D.I.Y. is such an interesting concept that I wish it were on a platform that wasn't mortified of online spaces. It's available right now through WarioWare D.I.Y.
