It is not possible to overrate Mike Patton. He is one of the most talented and prolific musicians of our age. Faith No More and The Darkness is just the tip of the iceberg.
@Rammstein: I like how you compare him to Kirk Acevedo as if Patton replaced him. Acevedo was replaced by Nolan North, Patton was in both games.
He never did much for me somehow. Victor, on the other hand... now his voice immediately impressed me. I just looked up his voice actor, William Salyers and had my mind blown. Rigby from Regular Show. MIND. FUCKING. BLOWN.

Patton is an international treasure. Rammstein why must you disappoint us all? Faith No More isn't even top tier Patton.
Totally lost all respect for Ramm. Mike Patton is probably the coolest person on the planet. Can't think of another celebrity I'd rather carry on a conversation with, and he totally makes The Darkness.

Saw Mike Patton & Rhazel do an hour long human beatbox set at festival in the uk about 10 years ago, utterly mind blowing what this guy can do with just his voice. Easily one of the most visionary musicians of our time.

I'm a fan of Patton, as evidenced by the fact that I've listened to "Adult Themes for Voice" all the way through at least once (not that it was fun or anything). The guy is a total goof and I'm ok with that. Also, Mr. Bungle is the tits. The end.

@thecleaningguy: don't be embarrassed, only reason I know is I thought the same thing and checked. He totally sounds like a cross between North doing drake and the penguin.
I like Mike Patton's music, and saw him live twice. He was literally one of the best vocalists I will ever see in person, ever.
However, nothing in this video really impressed me much. It's not bad, but it's not great either.

Funny no one was singing this kind of praise for him doing the voice in Bionic Commando. And certainly not in buying the albums he was on in his various bands!
