In my mind, Mike Patton is absolutely one of the best parts of The Darkness videogames. Possibly even the best. It's like he has a demon living inside of him that's only there to help him produce sounds no human should be able to.
Since The Darkness IIhas been out for a couple of weeks now, 2K Games put out a fun behind-the-scenes video showcasing Patton's voice acting. These things are usually interesting enough to send you on an IMDB spree, if nothing else, but this one made me laugh. A little too much.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied: "bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

It is not possible to overrate Mike Patton. He is one of the most talented and prolific musicians of our age. Faith No More and The Darkness is just the tip of the iceberg.
He never did much for me somehow. Victor, on the other hand... now his voice immediately impressed me. I just looked up his voice actor, William Salyers and had my mind blown. Rigby from Regular Show. MIND. FUCKING. BLOWN.
Totally lost all respect for Ramm. Mike Patton is probably the coolest person on the planet. Can't think of another celebrity I'd rather carry on a conversation with, and he totally makes The Darkness.
Saw Mike Patton & Rhazel do an hour long human beatbox set at festival in the uk about 10 years ago, utterly mind blowing what this guy can do with just his voice. Easily one of the most visionary musicians of our time.
I'm a fan of Patton, as evidenced by the fact that I've listened to "Adult Themes for Voice" all the way through at least once (not that it was fun or anything). The guy is a total goof and I'm ok with that. Also, Mr. Bungle is the tits. The end.
@thecleaningguy: don't be embarrassed, only reason I know is I thought the same thing and checked. He totally sounds like a cross between North doing drake and the penguin.
Funny no one was singing this kind of praise for him doing the voice in Bionic Commando. And certainly not in buying the albums he was on in his various bands!

I wonder if he's still involved in singing opera in the proper Italian, I recall him being engaged in a number of shows around Europe for it.
