I must say, covering WarioWare D.I.Y. has been nothing but delightful -- and I haven't even gotten around to picking up a copy of the game yet. "Fire Bad!" by Alex Neuse of Gaijin Games is the latest of the developer-created microgames to hit the download scene.
It looks an awful lot like a scaled down version of Bit.Trip Runner, which is obviously awesome. You presumably A) have eyes and B) could have gathered that yourself, so I'm not exactly sure why I am bothering to explain this.
At any rate, this lovely behind-the-scenes video is pretty great. Since, again, you probably have eyeballs, I urge you to watch it.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied: "bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

I got the game today and picked up all the developer created games. DIY is so much fun. I almost have my first micro-game completed. I wonder if there is something up in the forums where destructoid members can post info on what they made. . . . . .
Man I so want to pick up this game, but there's just too many other games that are taking up my time and money. I'll get it eventually. Also Alex Neuse is pretty amazing. He seems like a very cool guy to hang out with.
Today I witnessed it in person with a friend from Programming class. He told me that after all the courses we have taken, DIY has the simplest and more accurate explanations for coding ever haha.
Anyone heard of any new Wario Ware games coming out soon? I can imagine that with the 3DS coming out later this month (March 2011) that it would be in the release window, but I can't seem to find any word on any Wario video games. Any help?
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Not quite as good as my FORUM ADVENTURES MICROGAMES, but really, I don't think any developer can top my flying boners microgame.
Though Pixel's DIY game is still my flavorite.
