Watch first-person puzzle game Parallax bend gravity

M.C. Escher would be proud

Parallax showed up on Steam Greenlight late last year, with gameplay tasking the player with navigating a stark, monochromatic space and traveling between two parallel universes. It looked mind bending before, and now Toasty Games has upped the ante.

In addition to traversal between the two universes via portals, Parallax also features areas where gravity is not absolute, but appears to act relative to the player's position. Check out the above video to see it in action.

Gravity manipulation may not be an entirely original idea, but it seems to be another layer on top of what was already looking like a mind-boggling first-person puzzle platformer. If you missed the video showing the main gameplay conceit when it was released, watch it below.
