Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

Mega Man has a pretty hard life. He’s fought every robot Dr. Wily’s thrown at him and he’s won every battle so far. All heroes deserve a break to enjoy some wind through their hair, and that’s what Mega Man was finally trying to do. That is until a Hard Hat decided to ruin Mega Man’s day.

OK, a Hard Hat, they’re not so tough, right? Wrong. Mega Man launches over a hundred of his acquired power-ups from his fallen foes and not a single one works. Just when Mega Man thinks his attacks do work, the Hard Hat just keeps coming back for more. In the end, it’s Roll who comes to the rescue and the message of this video is made clear: Make love, not war. Lucky for us, Mega Man games aren’t about peace and love cause that would be really boring … and slightly kinky.

Most of the sprites shown in the video were ripped from Mega Man 1 through 6 and Mega Man I through V for the original Game Boy. The rest of the 8-bit weapons from Mega Man 7, 8, Mega Man & Bass and Mega Man’s reactions throughout the video where made by the creator of the video. Full credits and details can be found on the YouTube page.

The video is pretty hilarious. I absolutely love how Mega Man combines weapons from all his various games, such as the ultimate shield he created at the 2:39 mark. I have to wonder what a Mega Man game would be like with all these powers at Mega Man’s disposal. The game could be about Super Mega Man fighting all of the crazy bosses you made during our Mega Man Boss Creator contest! As fun as it sounds though, scrolling through the menu to select each weapon would get annoying really fast.

I so want a Mega Man game with ALL the weapons in it. It would be incredibly awesome.

Kinda following in the footsteps of Dissidia Final Fantasy (which is AWESOME!), I think Capcom should consider a graphically upgraded fan service game. Megaman vs. All Robot Masters. Just not a huge departure from classic MM gameplay. A Megaman game made in the SFIV engine would fill my pants.

An awesome video, and I was certainly pleased to see some of the more obscure weapons (like Sakugarne, the pogo-jackhammer from MM2GB).

@koehler83: Have you played Megaman: The Power Battle / Megaman 2: The Power Fighters?

What if the list was divided into pages by game? I mean, we pretty much all know which game has what weapons by now (except maybe the Game Boy's V), right?

This is so great.

I'd really enjoy a very long Mega Man that allowed you to have all the weapons.

Proto Man's part was awesome :)

That may be the best video ever. I loved his pile of explosives. Protoman.
Him pounding his fists on the fround was hilarious.
This also solidifies the idea that Roll should be a bigger part of the game.

What awesome reactions from Mega Man. That video rocked. Black Hole Bomb is the easiest way I've ever killed those idiots.
