Oh, you're here. You're not playing Super Mario Galaxy 2, even after Dale and Chad's recommendations? Well, uhhh, maybe there's a reason for that. Not a good reason, but maybe you're just wishing to watch a lot of videos of the game before you buy it to get a taste. V.Toid has you covered like a blanket.
You can check out some Yoshi action above, or if you head over to V.Toid you can watch some Bowser do his thing or some more other gameplay. It's all tons of fun. Trust me, I'm playing it now and the videos just don't do the action justice. Much like the previous Galaxy it's just plain fun. Speaking of which, I'm going back to it. Enjoy the vids.

there's a difference between gameplay and design/feel
Mfrio games are great platformers but playing them (every single one i tried excluding the first smb) i feel like i'm being treated like a retard. You know, "the teletubbies feel". So i prefer to just respect the series for innovation. from the distance.
Didn't try out many Zelda games (jRPGs and like were pretty obscure in post-USSR countries untill the late 90s. Action games, platformers and cRPGs were much more popular). Didn't like much the ones i tried. Still, will try more because i like the concept. So far, the only "very famous" Nintendo-produced series i love is Metroid. And i played it first time 4 years ago. Yeah...
@Klarden: Zelda isn't an RPG series, J or W, it's an action adventure series in a LOTR style setting with light RPG touches, give it a shot at least, you might find yourself very surprised, i'd advise Ocarina of Time for starters but from what i've seen newbies to the series have a hard time getting into it (nostalgia goggles necessary?), so maybe you should start with either Twilight Princess or Wind Waker (if you can find a copy).
I'll be buying the game eventually, but my fix will come in watching the Mario Marathon guys 100% it (assuming they aren't kept from playing the game by Nintendo, since they'll be doing it a little over a month after release).
@ EdgyDude
I know, but some people classify it as an action/adventure hydrid. Anyways, i am going to try every game of the series i can. It doesn't help when Nintendo still ignores the whole post-soviet market (and they always did, for the last 20 years only Sony products was sold officialy here). It's just... when i tried one of the older games with the good ol' top-down view and found out that i can pick up and throw bushes at enemies. Well, i spent too much time trying to pick-up every single item you can -_-
I'm with superdance, I've got it pre-ordered, but of course it would get released on a Sunday, so there's no way Amazon could get it to me immediately.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
"or maybe i dont own a wii"
Or maybe you have no soul?
Yeah I think its the latter of the two!
Whatever, I don't have time to think about this crap. I'll be back later...after I get a few stars.
@Electrium: Not everyone likes Zelda either, it's their choice *shrugs*
