Instead of actually going outside and bettering your chances of procreation, I bring you the above speedrun of one of my all-time favorite, ultra-action-packed, 2D psuedo-shmups, Gunstar Heroes.
These speedrun videos are the gamer's equivalent of listening to Mozart (or, for that matter, Martin Leung); there is absolutely no way your abilities will ever approach that level of perfection, but no one can deny the unanticipated wood outbreaks that symphonies are notorious for causing.
Jeez, I just played that game in January with a friend. Even with co-op, we barely finished it on normal after an entire night of gaming. This video was just beautiful.
I used to do Quake I speed runs. Does that mean I have teh purfekt skillz? Oh wait, I played Mozart on the piano for over a decade, I guess that's a resounding YES!
But yeah, gunstar heros is the best game evar. And my mozart playing skills will never help me get to this level of gaming.
You're thinking of Paul Lynde I believe. Charles Nelson Reilly was probably best known for being the flamboyant gay guy on Match Game (best game show evar) and Jose Chung in that awesome episode of X-Files.
All I remember of Charles Nelson Reilly is that SNL skit that Will Ferrell did of Inside The Actor's Studio with Charles Nelson Reilly. That made me laugh. So it is relevant.
