A new trailer for Warriors Orochi 3 has surfaced, revealing some gameplay footage for Ryu, Ayane, Joan of Arc, Achilles and that dude from Z'ill Oll. The game will boast a staggering 120 playable characters, spanning every single major franchise that Tecmo Koei has.
The sheer wealth of content is making this look like the ultimate culmination of the Warriors series. Of course, that's not going to stop TK from making more afterwards, but this is already looking like the pinnacle from which one can only slide down.
Still, HNNNNNNNNNG! All I'd need is for them to throw Gitaroo Man in there, and I'd probably shit rainbows.

From what I saw in a translated Koei/Tecmo press conference, one of the speakers accidentally said that there will be more than 130 characters instead the 120 character promotion. This is going to be a fun game. I can't wait to put Goemon, Benkei and Susanoo in a team
Ooh, i'm interested. For some reason i couldnt put down SW: chronicles.....something about tecmo/koei games just keeps me entranced. This was the same for me when the Tenchu and Way of the Samurai games came out, i just genuinely enjoy them.
I came so many buckets. I usually don't sell myself on a game before release, but I don't see how this can fail. Even with the terrible framerate problems, WO2 was great fun and this is... 120! 120! Even with shared weapons, that's amazing.
DLZ: I value fresh content and gameplay in games that need them, like Mario Kart.
In games where the core content is still fun, it doesn't need to change.

I came in to this wondering why a trailer that has 2 on it is for the 3rd in a series and people are talking about fucking Mario Kart.

i just played a dynasty warriors game for the first time today...
specifically Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires. This was all based on your recommendation and all the gameplay you showed me of it Jim.
I suddenly realized I hadn't eaten anything since I started playing and that was at 8 in the morning when I first woke up.

Just to know you know, while there is a nice stable of Warriors games for 360, as of late, they've mainly gone exclusive to PS3 because they sell better I guess. So if you're now addicted to Koei Warriors games, you'd have a bigger library of them of PS3, if you have one.
