Here's the introduction video for the upcoming Warriors Orochi 3 (branded Musou Orochi 2 in Japan). It's crammed full of characters from Tecmo Koei games, although it does seem to highlight just how badly the Warriors games rely on archetypes.
The characters have all been grouped together depending on what stereotypical roles they fill, so you've got a shot of the "noble warrior heroes" all fighting together, a shot of the "big heavy idiots" stomping around, and a shot of the "females with no personality" holding hands and skipping over a fireball.
Anyone who plays these games knows just how one-dimensional the characters are, but this video -- epic as it is -- certainly hammers the point home.
