Warriors: Legends of Troy official site has some red on it photo

A new Web site for Warriors: Legends of Troy has recently spewed itself up on the Internet, and while it currently only contains the E3 trailer, its blood-soaked frontpage gives gamers a very good idea of where this brand new chapter in Koei's Warriors series is headed.

Those who have played a Dynasty Warriors game will note that, despite the endless hack n' slash gameplay, there is not much hacking and slashing really going on. Limbs stay attached to torsos, blood is never spilled, and even the kills are counted as KO's. Koei is designing Troy to appeal predominantly to a Western audience, and that means only one thing -- buggerloads of blood.

I'm really itching to see some actual gameplay, because it seems almost perverse for a Warriors game to go M-Rated. That doesn't mean I'm not excited at the prospect of Koei doing something gory and brutal, of course. It's just very odd to consider.

Isn't this one being made by some western studio or something instead of Omega Force? I forget who right now... oh right it's "Koei Canada" that made the AWESOME Fatal Intertia. I guess the game could be OK, but I weep for the inevitable lack of ridiculous anime stylized mythrical Greek figures.

Having played DW6:E for almost 13 hours straight on release, I am someone to whom the prospect of proper hacking up of bodies in a Warriors game appeals greatly.

In other words, fuck yes.

Wedge:

I was concerned too, but I asked Koei Canada about that and they said that quite a few key members of Omega Force (DW Studio) are working within Koei Canada, including DW's producer. So, they won't be short of proper Warriors devs.

Don't care about the game, but I'm commenting to support the Shaun of the Dead reference.

I think, this game will be one of the best KOEI-TECMO game.

The Warriors Legends of Troy official site is really awesome:

After watching the Trailer on the site, if you click anywhere on the background, then the screen spurts and sprays blood ;)

Devil-King? Are you serious? You're REALLY going to post the Official site despite the fact that Jim already did that in this article? Are you 5 fourths retarded or what? Come on man, pretend you're 10 years old and have some reading comprehension.
