What is all this talk about Nintendo not making adult games? The video above clearly shows that WarioWare D.I.Y. is heavily gunning for "Most Violent Game of the Year," and at the moment seems to have a healthy lead in the "Nailing Someone to a Cross" category.
It's not clear who the wonderfully demented person that came up with all of these is, but it is clear that you can pretty much do whatever the hell you want in D.I.Y. As we previously pointed out in our preview, it's surprisingly easy to do it as well.
I'm going to have trouble shaking the image from my mind of Wario maniacally laughing after watching someone get beheaded by a saw. I'm sure his laughter looked friendly once, but it will now haunt my dreams forever.

Oh geez, some of those were funny but a lot of them were just in bad taste. I do want this game and I'm sure it won't be all bad. Is the flipbook studio like this in terms of the user generated content?
I wouldn't have been disturbed if it weren't for the sheer volume of those that only varied slightly to accord to tiny accommodations in murder fantasy. D:
Warioware is the new Modern Warfare 2, I called it. Just wait for the media to get a hold of this.
Also, how long before the religious folk see this and raise hell about the cross bit? You know it's coming.
Although I find it quite odd that the Christian community hasn't thought of making a Jesus-themed MMO, but they can churn out mediocre RTS titles and trivia games. It would work. Hell, I might pitch that idea to someone.
oh my god. that head sawing minigame was pretty messed up. i guess its only a matter of time before someone dedicates themselves to making a collection of hardcore porn minigames too. not that it would be a bad thing.
It's almost like a challenge to see how awful you can make the games. I'm expecting to see "lock the daughter in the basement," "whip the slave," "put the Jew in the oven," "behead the civilization contractor," "shoot yourself at the press conference," and many other horrible, horrible things.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Can't wait!

I'm writing this shit down.
Nintendo: We don't enjoy making mature games. So we let the players do it themselves!
Happy gaming!
Funny you should say that...
(the censored ones are on youtube, but there are lots of worse ones elsewhere).
I can't believe Nintendo would release a game with this much customization.
There's one thing having ott violence and sex in an 18/M rated game, but in a game marketed towards children... That's messed.
I understand that the content is not built into the game but i'm sure many kids will be able to work out how to download and access it.
