Hooray for Warioland! I also like this concept of a special summer event. Overall I'm pretty impressed with nintendo's news tonight. Put me down for a new 3DS XL in blue, and one copy of NSMB2.

That's video just got me a little hot in the pants. I love Warioland and I can't find my copy to play on my Gameboy this is no longer a worry I need have. That is a great collection of games.

@Patrick Borrelli: Sonic Labyrinth is easily worse. The PREMISE of the game is that Sonic cannot run due to special shoes on his feet. Lemme repeat that: Sonic. Cannot. Run.

@q tf: you should just do that. Until nintendo makes it cheap/convenient to have a huge library of classic games, I'll just download roms for the 100's of classic games I already own.... 10 dollars for a rom of a fucking 15 year old n64 game is highway robbery.

Regular Pokemon games will never come to the VC because tey won't want to spend money to modify them to allow trading and if they released them and you couldn't trade everyone would complain and cry like its the end of the earth

Just gonna hold out on the Sonic until they throw Sonic Chaos or Sonic 1 or 2 up there. Maybe Sonic Drift 2. Labyrinth and Blast though? No. Just no.

The other games though... tempting indeed.

It's pretty sad when "hey, we're gonna stop shoveling crap and finally start releasing the good titles that Japan and Europe have had for months," is considered exciting news. Goddamnit Nintendo, you know I still love you, but your American branch is making it very hard with this "deprive customers of the things they really want, then give them later and act as though we should worship you for it." You did it with Xenoblade. You did it with Last Story. You're doing it with the VC. It's getting old.

I played the shit out of the first Wario Land game when I was a kid. Fantastic game.

Wario land is getting a picked up, I love that game. Already had Zelda from being an Ambassador and wished it was Link to the Past we were getting (yeah yeah, I know, 16-bit).. Otherwise though I don't care so much about the rest.. Maybe Pinball Land but that can wait.

I don't know though.. I don't quite understand the focus on mostly Gameboy games.. I mean, Yeah, the Gameboy was an 8-bit system, and it fits the premise of this promotion, but I don't think people really think that when they think 8-bit.. Its kind of disappointing there isn't many more, colored, NES fair here.

If you mean the app things, then yeah, they're waiting for closer to B/W2. Otherwise, don't expect to see any other Pokemon games on the eShop unless they're planning on selling the next 3DS fare cartless.
