Uh, I'm guessing Jim doesn't really play MMOs, this is nothing remarkable since new content is regularly added to them without any purchase requirement. I think most people would be upset if this wasn't the case here too. Of course they could've gone the route of a complete expansion but only releasing the already planned but not yet ready content would not have been enough then.

Yeah, as soon as I heard the news that a lot of content was being pulled back, I also heard at the same time they wouldn't charge us later for what are practically episodic installments. Good to hear they are still sticking to it. I'm not sure what people can really get mad about. The cut classes were just a wee bit redundant anyways.
If the new capital cities are as large and content-full like the current 2, that's quite a feat if they come free!
It is noteworthy, seeing as how EA usually charges $5 per square of toilet paper, and $20 for use of the toilet seat.
From the beginning I thought end game WAR was going to be too spread out with 6 capital cities and thought reducing that to two was a good idea. I'll never say no to new content though, so adding the other 4 later on is fine by me. Waaaaagh!
What a horrible game. I got it free from a friend who got it for free from a friend of his whos in the journalism business. i installed it yesterday and uninstalled it today.
Its a WoW clone but takes everything that was annoying about wow and amplifies it x10. The grind, x10 slower. The walking speed, x10 slower. Walking distance between quests x10 farther. The que ue times x10 longer, the Rezz sickness lasts 10x longer, item repair, x10 more expensive and quests give 1/10 of the xp reward.
So if you have no life, Warhammer online is the game for you.

Didn't think so. I saw a review where Mark Jacobs talked about the different directions they considered, but decided to go with the same template that has been used for every other MMO ever because he believed it would be more popular. Doing the exact same thing as everyone else in the MMO market is apparently a safer bet.

I've tried korean MMORPGs that were better then this. Honest to God, KOREAN MMORPGS!

I think what they meant is that so much got cut down that they could easily sell it as an expansion, but they won't.

Not a WoW clone. WoW's grind is much worse, and the launch is (of course) better than the beta.

Lets up your post count to 2 before you swoop away to another forum to defend your beloved. Tell me, whats your favorite part of the game? The 15 minute rezz timer, or the fact that it stcks x5 leaving you with 1/2 half health and from the getgo of the game too.
Or maybe its the outdated graphics engine? No no, it probably the fact that its published by EA.
