Warhammer comes to iOS with Warhammer Quest
Rodeo Games is bringing Warhammer to the mobile market with Warhammer Quest, a treasure-hunting dungeon crawler in which players control a party of four. It's currently set for a Spring 2013 release, a far cry from most iOS games, which are usually out a week after they're announced. If you're into it, you can check out the teaser trailer. It's kind of boring, and the man talking sounds tired. It also sounds like he's recording from inside a tin of sardines. Did you know? Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)I like seeing Warhammer anything but not having an Iphone means I won't be playing this. Still wish that 40K MMO hadn't fallen apart. That could've been a hoot. The voice over makes me think of the intro movies for old CRPGs like Daggerfall. Wonder if that was done on purpose. Ya, I also wish the 40K MMO was still in production. As a 40k player, and MMO addict it was a dream come true. Maybe its for the best.... This looks like it's based on the 1990's Warhammer Quest Board game, which was actually a follow up to the Heroquest Boardgame (same company, same world, same concept.) What's crazy is my wife and I just bought a mind condition copy of the Warhammer Quest boardgame on ebay two weeks ago. And it goes for a pretty penny online.
