Steam is having a free play weekend as well

War of the Vikings has been in its alpha phase for quite some time, but publisher Paradox has informed us that the game has now been upgraded to a beta. You'll find new maps, modes and other extras accompanying this change, not to mention the fact that War of the Vikings is also free-to-play on Steam this weekend.

A ton of bugfixes have also been applied to the current build, so give it a go on Steam and see all of the changes for yourself.
