One thing, though. Why can't we have other inanimate facts of life/ideas/ideals/philosophies duke it out in a game for once. Instead of anthropomorphized versions of death and war, why cant we have The Capital Gains Tax vs. Fatigue? I want to see Body Odor vs. Indifference, or Special Relativity vs. Agoraphobia.
Just saying.
As for the game, I hope they lay off the damage-sponge enemies from the first game. I loved the rest of the game but just couldn't be bothered finishing it because every single enemy needed like 52 hits to kill them.
Also... bullshots detected!. That or they are from the PC version. The lack of HUD suggests bullshots, though. In either case, don't expect the console version to run at 1080p with flawless anti-aliasing.
Being worried about having the plot of Darksiders 2 spoiled for you. #Darksiders2
There are only about three games I've played so far where the graphics of a PC game were better than its console counterpart on a level that I actually cared. The main reason to play a PC game is for the better framerate, if anything -- For me, graphically, there's never been a significant difference for 99% of the multiplatform games I've played. Stuff like Crysis 2 and The Witcher 2 look significantly better on a PC graphically, but I can't really think of a single other game where I felt like the graphics of a console version were noticably lacking.
C'mon people. This is first level, this-is-how-you-play-the-game stuff.
That being said, I only just got the first one a couple of months back, and I was very pleasently surprised. I'll be getting this quite early methinks. Heres hoping that the sequal comes up with some original stuff though. D1 was a larf, but come on, a fucking portal gun!?
