Want to know what's going to be at Tokyo Game Show?
What do Dale, Nick, Rey and myself get to check out when we head out next month to this year's Tokyo Game Show, you ask? Well, it seems like (via show organizer CESA) a few companies have released listings of what games will be shown, including Tecmo Koei, Sega, Level 5, Acquire and Q Games. Among the list, one notable that jumped out was Professor Layton and the Flute of Malevolent Destiny for Nintendo DS. hey ... that's new! Is it just me, or is that whole Victorian porn vibe really starting to show through in these titles? You can hit the jump for the current list, which is only a fragment of what will be shown at the event, but exciting to see nonetheless. We also know, aside from the list, that Konami will be showing off Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. I'm personally really excited to see Pixeljunk Shooter and Pixeljunk Monsters Deluxe, but that's a totally biased response since I'm obsessed with everything Pixeljunk Monsters. What games are you hoping to see shown? [Via IGN] Tecmo Koei Holdings Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Gimme some Dead Rising 2--they haven't shown that shit since the announcement and I'm ready for more. The Lost Planet 2 demo is pretty dope. I see my Layton. Hopefully I learn enough Japanese before Layton 4 is localized...which will probably be in a really long time. @ hickwarrior: the third one is about time travelling and a time machine, not a flute. IIRC the correct translation for the third title was "The Last Time Travel". they also took a year and a half to reveal the sequel for the second game, why reveal the third game even before the second one's out?

It sold well enough at least, but Team Ninja plans to breathe new life into the game by making Dead...

9:00 PM on 09.13.2012 Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper: Fight a Lu Bu army on Wii UUpon watching the new trailer for Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper, one of the launch titles for Wii U, I had to go back a bit. Did it say battle an all Lu Bu army? And you can fight them with tigers? And Ryu Hayabusa? Why the hell not, I guess. I don't know what to say, other than "sold."

4:00 AM on 06.24.2010 People asplode in Fist of the North StarIt's probably been about fifteen years since I last saw Fist of the North Star in any form. Long enough, at least, that there are only two things I clearly remember about it: A really close-in shot of fingers being forcibly ...
