Want a Ninjatown sequel? Let Southpeak Games know! photo

If you read our review of Ninjatown or got your hands on the game yourself, you already know that the little strategy title for the DS was a staff favorite (not to mention Niero, Destructoid's founder and man-in-helmet, played it through twice in a row he liked it so much!).

Shawn Smith, the creator behind Ninjatown as well as the Shawnimals universe, mentioned on his Twitter this morning that if you are interested in a sequel, you should let Southpeak Games know  by sending them a tweet at @Southpeakgames or sending them an email at their website. I like to play it safe, so I'm doing both. More games featuring the Business Ninja, please!

A game company? Caring about what their peers think? How absurd.

This is a very cool thing for them to do, I have to admit.

I just sent them this by email.

I suppose I'll dust off my Twitter account and hit them there as well.

Dtoid is always pushing a pro-Ninja Town agenda. I'm at least glad to see the full disclosure on Niero's Ninja-sympathizing.

More seriously, I just tweeted.

Where's Pirate Town when you need one?

to follow up Chronic Logic's suggestion: what the world needs is also VikingTown and KnightTown. we could also go overkill and just make a SomalianPirateTown while we're at it.
