I can see perhaps if you had 2 kids with them, or if you and the wife had one each.
But the problem with trading 2 for 1 is, who gets to play the 3DS after you've both given up your DS's?
Also "up to $100" makes me think only pristine DSi XL's perhaps in their original boxes, will get the whole $100.

My two little brothers each own one so there's that scenario. I know a lot of people bought originals and then the later models and kept their originals. There's that too.
And yes, it is very dirty down here. I want back in the northeast but God says I haven't finished my time yet.

what i want to know is if you do trade it in will they transfer all your DSi ware to the next platform
I'm very glad other stores are joining the used games business. Gamestop really had the market cornered there. Hopefully this will cause everybody to compete and keep used prices as low as possible.
@Frigidevil: Actually I own nine; 1 DS Phat, 2 regular DS lite's, 1 DS Lite Guitar Hero Bundle, 2 DSi's (One black one pink) and 3 DSi XL's (Wine, blue and the 25th Anniversary Edition).
Too bad my fat DS is worth about $10. Either that, or no one will accept it. Someday it'll be worth hundreds as a collectors item! YOU JUST WAIT!!

I work for Wal Mart and I have never seen anyone that happy! Also I'm in Arkansas and haven't heared anything about this.
I was very strongly considering this as an option until 'type of DS model will determine how much you get back'. I'd rather keep my Lite as a backup than have $30 off a 3DS.
@Frigidevil I own 3. A DS Lite for my... umm... special cartridge, a DSi for legitimate gaming, and a DSi XL because I'm a goddamned moron.
