Walmart dropped the price in Canada to $200 last week (among other stores). And most chain retail stores offer some sort of price adjustment if an item goes on sale within a certain time period. I work at TRU and already bought my system on Tuesday- I get the free games and then get the price adjustment next friday because I'm within two weeks of the purchase/price cut.

This kind of thing was obviously going to happen as soon as it was announced, meaning those happy with the ambassador program are dumbasses because they could have had that AND the cheaper price.
Besides that, I honestly don't see the appeal of GBA and NES games. If I wanted to play those again I would just grab my DS lite.

I saw some people post pics of Costco displays already selling them at the new price.. like a week ago i think.
Pfff... I already did that at Best Buy. Since they match the price of any product within 30 days, i bought a 3DS last week, took it online to the eshop, and now on August 12 I'll get $80 back plus the free games when Nintendo releases them!

My Girlfriend just texted me about this. I already have a 3DS, but she doesn't so she's looking at getting this, just so we both have the 20 free games when they come out.
