Ugh. Yesterday we took issue with one overpriced gaming fashion accessory, but its high price and ugly looks seem sensible when compared to these horrific GameBoy boots.
The creator of these stupid boots needs to get kicked in the ass by someone wearing them. Preferably the Pikachu pair. Polygamia linked us to these abominations that actually contain GameBoy Color game systems in them. Wearers can pop out the fully functioning system and play their favorite GameBoy Color game.
Syberpunk says that these boots "are highly popular with teens all over Japan." Somehow I doubt that. I doubt they're popular with anybody. Besides, aren't non-backlight systems before Fall a fashion no-no?

The new thing here is sticking the game boys in there, and that's kinda neat. It's insane, but in the context of crrrrazy shoes, it's normal. If it was stuck into something we were more likely to use (a chair?) it'd seem cooler to us. Pretend that you're a teen in Japan who likes totally crazy shoes -- now your crazy shoes have GBAs in them! That's cool.
