This game has looked interesting for quite some time and I am half tempted to try it ..... but I would never consider this game free-to-play. With that list of restrictions its at best a subscription based game that has a non time restricted demo.
Having played the Open Beta for a while...I can say that this game is far too troll friendly with it's ecosystem system. Expect none of the work you put in to last more than a day, if you're lucky.
As a result this game's awesome battle system is lost on horrible adjoining features. If only they left out the ecosystem crap...I'd happily pay for it, the battle system is superb.

It's a damn shame, because I'm absolutely in love with the art direction and I'm a big fan of the show, but I just can't see myself playing this. I like the concept of the battle system, but MMOs just aren't for me.
I'm actually interested in this one because I'm a huge fan of SRPGs. Not liking the MMO aspects though...
Played the beta quite a bit, the combat system is fun but seems kind of shallow, and the entire game outside the combat system is a variety of grinding. Oddities: there are NO combat healing items and there are NO NPC's, you must find, make or buy stuff from other people for the entire economy. And a party of people you like is a must - I couldn't solo groups of level 3 or 4 stuff until I was level 10+, at which point it wasn't worth it. The game is clearly balanced towards parties, double-edged sword as usual. I'm not planning on paying for it, but the multiplayer SRPG elements alllllmost got me there.

Just as a note: many players, including myself, have been unable to access the North American server Nox due to server issues basically all day. People are definitely playing in it, but currently I am not one of them. Launch-day server issues are anything but uncommon among MMORPGs and if I've learned anything, it's that patience goes a long way. best tablet pc
