Volpin Props makes an amazing Halo 4 Needler replica

Sep 20 // Darren Nakamura

Pew pew pew pew pew pew pew!

It's funny how the Needler is sort of iconic with respect to the Halo series. Back in the days of the original Halo, it was almost exclusively used as a way to humiliate an opponent, since it was typically so easy to avoid being hurt by it. Despite the expanded fiction's attempts to make the weapon seem imposing and destructive, it's just difficult to make slow-moving, glowing pink crystals intimidating.

Leave it up to Volpin Props to take that on and make it awesome. You may remember the studio from works such as this Mass Effect rifle replica, this Skyrim Draugr helm, or perhaps even this little robot thing you may have heard about previously. The video above does more than just showcase an incredible end result; it shows just how much work goes into one of these projects in order to make it perfect. More high resolution stills are available in the Volpin Props portfolio.
