XSEED announced today that real-time strategy rhythm game (!?) Orgarhythm will be released on the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation Vita on October 23. It will be priced at $29.99 per download.

For those not keeping up with the game, Orgarhythm was develped by Acquire and new studio Neilo, which is headed up by Takashi Hirai, a member of the Rez and Space Channel 5 dev team. We called it weird at E3, but that shouldn't stop you from picking it up next month.  A game mechanic where you're deploying your forces to a beat is enough to have me convinced.

New screens for that weird-ass Orgarhythm game

Remember us showing you a trailer for Orgarhythm? We called it a blend of music and RTS that looked like a cross between Pikmin and Space Channel 5, and that sounded great, but then I watched that stupid trailer.  But no...more

Note to self: Replay Rez at least once a year

On the rare occasion I use my Xbox 360, I'm amazed the thing still works. It's laughably slow to boot up, full of games as it is, and having gone through several broken systems last generation, there's a lingering fear that t...more

Harmonix releasing more Rock Band DLC, a couple of 'we're back' songs

In mid-January, Harmonix surprised everyone by breaking its radio silence on Rock Band with the first set of downloadable songs in almost two years. While it's not quite the return to weekly DLC, Harmonix looks to be ba...more
