I'll be damned! Remote Play on the PS Vita actually does something now. A new update, out today, will let you play both the God of War Collection and the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection on your PS Vita via Remote Play. This means that you'll be able to stream-play either title over WiFi from your PS3 to your Vita's screen through Sony's space-age magic.

Sony says that both games feature customizable controls, suggesting that you might want to map R2 and L2 to the Vita's rear touchpad. Goofy.

To get Remote Play going for these games, you'll need to download patches on your PS3. Then connect your Vita. Full instructions for getting Remote Play going are here.

Nice moves, Sony. But let's get all the games going for Remote Play.
