Virtual Console gets 8 more games

10:55 PM on 11.07.2006 // Sheir

pilotwings2.jpg You know the Virtual Console -- it's the dealbreaker. The thing you dream about. Your dirty little secret. Or something. Well, your guilty pleasure just get a little bit more pleasureful, with the addition of some new (old) games. A few familiar names stick out here, such as Pilotwings. I've heard a lot about this game, but due to my utter suckage, I've never had a chance to play it. Now, Nintendo is giving me that chance again. Nintendo is helping me back on my feet and granting me wishes, so I can stop living a petty thief's life. It's my Genie. The Robin Williams version, not the crappy Aladdin TV show one. Without further ado, the games, with their ESRB ratings:

* Duck Hunt (E for Everyone) * Hogan's Alley (E for Everyone) * Kid Icarus (E for Everyone) * Kirby's Adventure (E for Everyone) * Pilot Wings (E for Everyone) * Pro Wrestling (E for Everyone) * Punch-Out (E for Everyone) * Wild Gunman (E for Everyone)
Hey, don't thank me. Thank Wii. And also, that Matt guy from IGN. [ Update 1: We suspect it is the Super NES version of Pilotwings and not the 64 version, updated the pic. Thanks Keener for the tip. Less than three hearts ponies unicorns! ]
