Bladestorm PS4 and Way of the Samurai Vita trailers

A lot of sort of random games headlined Sony's pre-TGS conference.  As we previously reported, Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War (PS3, 360), from Koei and Dynasty Warriors developer Omega Force, is getti...

Yakuza Zero trailer: It will never release here because Sega hates you

Yakuza in 1988 sounds great, but we'll never get to play it anyways. It's launching in Japan during spring of 2015 for PS3 and PS4.

Grasshopper's PS4 Let it Die trailer

The next game from Grasshopper and Suda 51, Let it Die, left a lot of questions unanswered at E3 this year. And I miss Lily Bergamo, which I was more excited about. This TGS trailer offers a frenetic, but more concrete look at the free-to-play PS4 game, which is sort of positioning itself as a multiplayer Manhunt. A lot of strangulation of dudes in their underwear.

Persona 5 is coming to PS4, gets first trailer photo
Persona 5 is coming to PS4, gets first trailer
by Steven Hansen

Atlus' YouTube has our first look at Persona 5, which appears to have a ruffled brown haired boy protagonist and subways. Not a lot to get excited about aside from the fact that Persona 5 is exciting inherently.

Though there was an announcement of a PS4 version of the previously PS3-restricted title. Makes sense.

Fire watch with me: Firewatch gets first, mysterious trailer photo
Fire watch with me: Firewatch gets first, mysterious trailer
by Steven Hansen

I am into this. It's a bit inscrutable, sure, but a mystery game needs to be mysterious. I was into Firewatch as soon as I heard of the talent involved. Artist Olly Moss, whose work we enjoy regularly, along with Mark of the Ninja designer Nels Anderson, and season one The Walking Dead writers and designers Sean Vanaman and Jake Rodkin.

You are alone in the Wyoming wilderness, save for the voice on the other side of your radio. And clearly there's some impropriety going on between Henry and his supervisor Delilah. Also, stuff spookier still.

There are a few more screenshots on Campo Santo's Firewatch website. The game is aiming for a 2015 PC, Mac, and Linux release. I'm pretty okay going in knowing not much more than we do now.
