The internet gives cosplayers a hard time, but there are a few key events each year in America that have good cosplay. Los Angeles' Anime Expo is definitely one of them. We make it a point to go out every year and cover the event for sister site Japanator, and snapping cosplay photos is a big part of that coverage.
This year we got some amazing shots from the event floor over this past holiday weekend. We have four galleries of great stuff, much of which is videogame based. I've picked out some of my favorites for our gallery, but you should definitely check out Japanator's four galleries for a better look.
We're already packing our cameras for the other summer events like Comic-con and Otakon. We'll be back with more. I'm still looking for that amazing Ivy that I saw a few years back.

Dale North is Destructoid's Editor-In-Chief, a founding editor, and specialist in Japanese gaming. An accomplished musician, Dale was reporting from Japan during the earthquakes of 2011. Luckily, he got the fuck out alive and is home in America now with his wife and beloved corgi, Einstein. Dale is also a co-founder of Destructoid's sister anime site

Pretty average if you ask me. Not terrible, but I've seen quite better. It takes a bit of balls to cosplay at all though, so kudos to all of them.
