When Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia was released I thought my adolescent dreams of going to war with all that the fiery mouth of Hell has to offer would finally be realized.  Sadly, it was not to be, with a troublesome camera system and controls that were more frustrating than fun it wasn't long before Monster Madness was retired to a dusty shelf.

In a rare bit of psuedo-luck, the Playstation 3 version of Monster Madness was delayed; and in their infinite wisdom Psyonix decided to release it as Monster Madness: EX, supposedly tightening controls, revamping camera angles, and adding new weapons, vehicles, and mini-games to the mix. Hopefully our psuedo-luck doesn't run out and the changes introduced by Psionix manage to make Monster Madness: EX as much fun as we know it should be.

Clockwork
Well it does look like they fixed the camera issue but otherwise it's the same game.

It took these assholes months to release a patch to fix the 360 version, this version also promised to have online co-op which the 360 version did not have.

Online co-op would have really sold MM for the 360, a zombies ate my neighbors type game, 4 people just having a blast, tell me that wouldn't be fun, but NOOOOOOOOOOO, you a horrible deathmatch type and you'll like it.

Fuck these guys, I urge people to not support them at all.

And those who got the PC version off MM? SOL, no patch for them.

When I first tried out this game on the 360, I said it could be fun with better camera/controls.

Thank god someone can read my mind.

I tried this on the 360 and thought it was garbage. I really wanted to like it but couldn't overlook it's flaws. I don't think they've done enough for me to warrant the game a second look on my PS3.

I never played this game, I always thought it was some half assed piece.

I LOVE Zombies Ate My Neighbors, so I was excited for this game. But, when I played it I was pissed. The game played like crap.

Well, I heard about the patch that reworked the control and I picked the game up for $9 at Circuit City a few weeks ago. It's significantly improved and surprisingly fun after you download the patch. Is this an excuse for the original game? No. Will the PS3 version be worth $60? No. Should you give the 360 version a try for $9? yes.

Despite the controls and camera, the game was terrible. I appreciate the multiple system love, but how about we just say that was a failure and start making a new game that doesn't suck.

Never tried it on 360. It does look kind of quikry and fun. I'll wait and see what the response is when it comes out.
