Video preview of Black Ops 'Escalation' DLC

3:20 PM on 04.19.2011

On May 3, the "Escalation" map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops multiplayer hits Xbox Live. You're looking at four new maps -- "Hotel," "Convoy," "Zoo," and "Stockpile" -- along with one new map, "Call of the Dead," for the game's zombie mode. First to Xbox Live, of course. Everyone else will have to hold your horses until June 3.

Activision and Treyarch released a video preview of the maps today, and they're looking pretty sharp. "Zoo," in particular, has my attention -- it has a monorail! Not a working one, unfortunately. But I have fine zoo memories of my youth when it comes to monorails. And monkeys. And bats. No mention of those last two in the video, though. Damn it.
