Video mashup: Final Fullmetal Fantasy VI

[As originally posted on Japanator]

There's a whole lot going on at Japanator today. Plenty of shakeups in the anime world, what with FUNimation nabbing portions of ADV's and Geneon's catalogs, beefing themselves up a good ways above the competition. Not to mention Kodansha entering into the US manga market. But that doesn't mean that there isn't some free time for a MAD or two.

MADs are Japanese AMVs, but also encompass a lot more. You can read up on it here after you've enjoyed the video above. It's a mashup of the hit anime Fullmetal Alchemist's second opening and ending videos, inserting the cast from Final Fantasy VI.

If that excited you, feel free to check out plenty of other videos on Japanator. We'd love for you to come and stay a while.

Also, if you want to see the original videos, you're going to have to go to Japanator. That's just how I roll.

Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day: A confusing mess of things I like

I finally got to play Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day last week. The lovechild of Suda 51, Tokyo Jungle director Yohei Kataoka, Silent Hill sound director Akira Yamaoka, and a bunch of other Japanese development talent, I've fo...more

Review: Steins;Gate

Time travel is infinitely more interesting once you leave the trappings of the TARDIS or any one of those familiar (some would say hackneyed) science fiction mainstays behind. Steins;Gate, the visual novel that inspired a ...more
